The Reference and Information Department at the Southington Library provides in-house, telephone and email informational assistance. Reference Collection
An extensive array of scholarly books filled with facts and figures for your research needs. Not all information is easily found on-line!

Local History Collection
We have copies of most Southington High School Yearbooks from 1926 until the present. You can also use ancestry.com while in the library to make high-quality print outs. We also have Southington town directories dating back to the late 1800s.

Databases
Use our online databases to access full-text magazine, journal, and newspaper articles, find information on automobile repair, research your family history, find critical commentary on literature, or find valuable business and demographic information.

Interlibrary Loan
Looking for a book, DVD, or book-on-tape that our library does not own? No problem. Simply call or stop by the Reference Desk, and we will try to obtain the item for you from another public library in Connecticut.
